As we all saw from the fashions at the Cannes Film Festival, the best looking celebrities looked good because they obeyed the number one rule of fashion. To be noticed, dress simply. They wore beautiful gowns, but simple, natural hairstyles, with focus on organic looking, classic jewelry. The were color rings , like the one Carey Mulligan wore, which stands out against her pop art print dress.There were flowing, gauzy dresses, like those worn by Vanessa Paradis, Johnny Depp’s paramour, who paired her quiet glam with an old school charm bracelet .
